A new management plan for the South-east Marine Parks Network came into effect on 13 February 2025.

New class approvals and determinations are being progressively developed for the South-east network and will be published on this page. If you require further information, please contact marineparks@dcceew.gov.au.

South-east Fisheries Assistance Program
The changes to zoning in the new management plan will impact some commercial fishing operators across Commonwealth, Tasmanian and South Australian fisheries.
