Macquarie Island Marine Park approvals & determinations
The following general approvals and determinations have been issued in line with the transitional management arrangements for activities in Macquarie Island Marine Park.
- General approval – Pink zone/Sanctuary Zone/ IUCN Category 1a
- General approval – Green zone/National Park Zone/IUCN Category II
- General approval – Yellow zone/Habitat Protection Zone/IUCN Category IV
- Determination for stowing and securing fishing gear
- Determination prohibiting fishing from Sanctuary Zone and National Park Zone in Macquarie Island Marine Park
